Go Dance
The children from Mr Heskins class performed
a dance piece for everyone this morning
as their project comes to an end. They
performed a piece about the Olympics to a
captivated audience. Mrs Tregear’s class will
now have the opportunity of having dance lessons
from a specialised coach for the next ten
weeks. The dancers were very professional
and entertaining, this project was very successful
but unfortunately has been the victim
of government cuts and has had to finish.

Year 5 go to Knebworth House
Our year 5 children visited Knebworth House on Wednesday as
part of their topic work on Elizabeth I. The
staff made sure that a message got back to
school to say that they have NEVER had such
a fantastic group of students as a they had
when year 5 visited. They said they wore their
Catholicity like a badge, they treated everyone
with respect, they had discipline and they
also commented on how smart they looked in their uniforms! Well done Year 5!

Holy Rood Mission
The parish of Holy Rood is holding a mission
during the week beginning 9th May. Fr. Ciaran
Brady, a Redemptionist priest, visited the children
on Monday to speak to them in assembly
about how they can prepare and take part in the
mission. There will be a family liturgy on
Wednesday 11th May and he is urging as many
of our families as possible to take part.
